When you arrive for your family session, it's all about your family and the love you share. Instead of pressuring your kids (and husband) into smiling into the camera, prompts help your family relax and have fun. We'll still get "smile at the camera" photos, but we'll also capture those sweet moments that display the true essence of family life with kids.

The Family Experience
A family session with me is more than just a photo shoot – it's a celebration of the unique bonds that tie your loved ones together. In every candid laugh, every warm embrace, and every shared glance, we tell the story of your family- as you are now. We will flow from the posed "everyone smile for the camera" poses to prompts and candid moments that show of your joy of being together.
We are creating wall art and treasured heirloom albums. You want those pieces to display who you are and celebrate it. So we will laugh, play, have fun, and just enjoy the moment, ensuring we capture your family as they truly are.

Are you looking for a photographer who has experience in wrangling children? You are in the right place! As a former teacher, and full-time mama, I understand how to create an environment where children are having fun and enjoying themselves.

1. Say Hello
In our initial phone call, we will chat all about your family and what your hopes and dreams for your session are.
I will walk you through my process and what you can expect to invest in a session with me after you have chosen your heirloom art work. If we are a good fit, we will choose a date and I will get you on my schedule.
You will be sent a session proposal with a client questionnaire, session agreement, and invoice for your $500 session fee. Once the proposal is filled out and session fee paid, you're officially on my calendar!
2. Schedule it
Once your session is confirmed, we will meet via Zoom for an initial consultation. The consultation is a chance for us to look over my artwork offerings and get an idea of what would be best for your family and home.
The consultation is also the time where we will plan out your location and outfits. We will pick a color palette that matches your vision and home and I will show you any client closet outfits I have that may work.
As the session gets closer, I will check in with you as you plan your outfits and continue to offer guidance, even shopping links if you need them. Planning should be stress-free and fun!
3. Planning it
My goal is for you to have nothing to worry about on the day of the session! That's why we will have planned out time, location, outfits, and even those "must-have" shots you are really wanting to try.
I do recommend bring a non-messy treat (like mini marshmallows) in case I'm not enough to hold your kiddos' attention. But, hopefully, you will all be having so much fun you won't even need them!
All you have to do is come prepared to have a relaxed, fun session. I'll take care of getting you those perfect images to preserve your special memories!
4. Your Session
In about 3 weeks, your gallery will be ready for you. We will set up another Zoom meeting and you will get to see your beautiful images in a custom created slide show.
I will walk you through choosing those images that fill your heart with joy. Under my guidance, you will go through your gallery and pick images for an album, wall art, digital collections, or any combination you want. This is truly a custom experience, tailored to your individual needs!
Once your images have been chosen, you will receive any digitals within 24 hours. Products will take about 4-6 weeks to arrive and either be hand-delivered, or shipped if you do not live in Hampton Roads.

- Approximately an hour session at golden hour (the hour before sunset)
- Personalized slideshow to view images before choosing your images
- Personalized assistance in selecting images and artwork design
- Sessions in the Hampton Roads Area or OBX
- $500 Session fee does not include images. Client chooses an image collection and/or customized artwork once they see and fall in love with their images.

We’ve done 3 photo sessions with Justine now, maternity, family, and mommy and me. We absolutely LOVE the results each and every time!
