Mama - Navy Wife - Book Lover

There's a photo in our family cabin that shaped who I am...

It hung on the wall in the den, my grandma's art room. The "cabin" had become her home, and she filled it with all of her precious heirlooms.

In the photo, my grandma is walking down a city sidewalk, holding hands with her father, her sister on the other side. They’re dressed in their best coats. There’s determination in her step, a hint of curiosity in her face.

I looked at that photo every time I was there. And every time, I saw more of myself in her. The shape of her face. The way she held herself. She was the artist in the family, long before I ever picked up a camera.

That photo made the family connection real. I belonged. I was like her.

One image. A lifetime of meaning.

That's the power of a printed image.

Two young sisters sit in the grass. The younger sister, in a pink dress and matching bow, sits in front with her older sister's arms around her.

My clients tell me they...

  • appreciate guidance from a pro, especially with outfits, locations, and prints

  • care more about meaningful photos on their walls than a hundred files on their phone.

  • value a calm, patient presence with their kids (and maybe need that for themselves too).

  • care about doing it right, not just getting it done.

A Glimpse Into My Life

My Everyday

I have two little girls at home. They are girly girls through and through. Makeup, hair bows, and dresses fill our days, and I like it that way.

When I am not photographing, editing, or working on my business, I am in the car driving to the next activity. Cheer mom. Dance mom. Shopping buddy. I answer to each of these titles.

When those sweet girls are finally tucked into bed, I curl up with a good book and a pet or two and enjoy the quiet.

My People

When I dreamed of my future family as a little girl, I couldn’t have imagined anything better. My girls are six years apart, and I truly love the age gap.

I get to watch my oldest grow into a confident, independent young woman; trying new makeup, experimenting with fashion, and figuring out who she is. At the same time, my little one is still all about princess dresses and sweet snuggles, which makes life feel full in the best way.

And being a Navy wife? It’s made me stronger. I’ve learned I’m capable. I’m powerful. And yes, I can use a tool to fix what’s broken.

My Journey

After earning my master’s in teaching, I thought I had life figured out. I spent eight years in first grade, moved several times, and handled more military separations from my husband than I can count.

Somewhere along the way, I lost myself. Teaching became my entire identity, and I missed the creative spark I once had in high school and college, back when I took art and photography classes to breathe a little outside academics.

I picked up a camera and began documenting my family. When my youngest was born, I knew I needed a lasting change. Family had to come first, and creativity had to be part of my every day.

So I switched to full‑time photography. I have never been happier. I still touch lives as I did when I taught, but now it is on my terms.

Choose Your Experience

My Philosophy

I create timeless heirlooms for your walls...so you can cherish these moments before your little ones grow up.

I’m Justine Renee, a maternity, newborn, family, and senior photographer dedicated to preserving legacy through timeless, radiant imagery. I have a deep love for flowers—their beauty inspires me, even if my green thumb is nonexistent! Floral backdrops and arrangements often find their way into my work, adding a touch of nature’s elegance. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m soaking up family moments and chasing after my little ones.

I know planning a session can feel overwhelming—outfits, timing, restless kids, and choosing the right prints. That’s why I handle every detail, making the process seamless so you can focus on what matters.

Holding a photograph, flipping through an album, or seeing your children’s portraits on the wall—these moments preserve your family’s story. Let’s create yours together.
