For a second, she forgot the camera was even there.

That's the one I kept for their gallery. Not because it was perfectly posed, but because it was real. It was the love that fills her home every single day. The kind that usually goes unnoticed.

My journey into becoming a Chesapeake photographer began in a moment just like this. Watching my two girls play together, I realized those ordinary moments were the ones worth preserving. I dusted off my old high school camera, and soon other families were stepping in front of my lens too.

I am a Chesapeake photographer who works with families, newborns, and high school seniors throughout Chesapeake, Virginia. Many of the families I photograph live in areas like Great Bridge, Greenbrier, and Hickory, and want photos that feel natural and work well in their home.
