"I've never seen them warm up to someone so quickly!"

Anna smiled as her little ones grabbed my hands, giggling as we walked to the next spot in the park. She had been so overwhelmed at the thought of family photos with two energetic kids, unsure how it would all go. But as the session unfolded, she let go. Her kids were happy. They had even shared a spontaneous hug—unscripted, unprompted—just being their sweet, silly selves.

In the middle of the chaos, its easy to forget to slow down and soak in these moments. That’s where I come in. 8 years of experience as an elementary school teacher prepared me for this.
