One of the great things about our area, is the access to stunning beaches. Although the sun doesn't set directly over the water, it does light the sky up in gorgeous shades of orange and pink, making the perfect backdrop for a session.
A bonus? If you are a military family, you can access Fort Story and have a much more private setting for your photos!

The Maternity Experience
A maternity session is an important part of your motherhood journey! You are celebrating the new life you are creating and your body doing amazing things! My job as your photographer, is to make you feel comfortable and beautiful, even though your final months might feel anything but.
We are creating beautiful heirloom pieces that your little one can look back on in the years to come. They will cherish being able to see how much love their family had for them-even before they could hold them in their arms. The best time to schedule a maternity session is between 28 and 36 weeks- so let's chat!

The best time to schedule a maternity session is between 28 and 32 weeks along. This is the sweet spot where your bump is cute and round and you haven't become entirely uncomfortable in your skin.
I will be there for you through every stage of the process, making your vision come to life and taking the stress away! Fill out my contact form with as much detail as you can so we can be sure we are a good fit. You will receive an invitation to book a phone call so we can really get to know one another!

1. Say Hello
n our initial phone call, we will chat all about your family and what your hopes and dreams for your session are.
I will walk you through my process and what you can expect to invest in a session with me after you have chosen your heirloom art work. If we are a good fit, we will choose a date and I will get you on my schedule.
You will be sent a session proposal with a client questionnaire, session agreement, and invoice for your $500 session fee. Once the proposal is filled out and session fee paid, you're officially on my calendar!
2. Schedule it
Once your session is confirmed, we will meet via Zoom for an initial consultation. The consultation is a chance for us to look over my artwork offerings and get an idea of what would be best for you and home.
The consultation is also the time where we will plan out your location and outfits. We will pick a color palette that matches your vision and home and I will show you any client closet outfits I have that may work. Most of my dresses are bump-friendly and perfect for the mama-to-be!
As the session gets closer, I will check in with you as you plan your outfits and continue to offer guidance, even shopping links if you need them. Planning should be stress-free and fun!
3. Planning it
My goal as your photographer is to make this process stress free! That's why I will spend time communicating with you prior to your session, planning it out. Before your session even begins, we will have planned out time, location, outfits, and even those "must-have" shots you are really wanting to try.
All you have to do is come prepared to have a relaxed, enjoyable session. I'll take care of getting you those perfect images to preserve your special memories!
4. Your Session
In about 3 weeks, your gallery will be ready for you. We will set up another Zoom meeting and you will get to see your beautiful images in a custom created slide show.
I will walk you through choosing those images that fill your heart with joy. Under my guidance, you will go through your gallery and pick images for an album, wall art, digital collections, or any combination you want. This is truly a custom experience, tailored to your individual needs!
Once your images have been chosen, you will receive any digitals within 24 hours. Products will take about 4-6 weeks to arrive and either be hand-delivered, or shipped if you do not live in Hampton Roads.
5. Your Photographs
Average Client Spents a Minimum of $1100
The Investment Details
- Pre-session preparation
- Session styling and access to client closet
- Approximately an hour session at golden hour (the hour before sunset)
- Personalized slideshow to view images before choosing your images
- Personalized assistance in selecting images and artwork design
- Sessions in the Hampton Roads Area or OBX
- $500 Session fee does not include images. Client chooses an image collection and/or customized artwork once they see and fall in love with their images.
