Military Homecomings are important events to the families living in and around Norfolk Naval. They are my absolute favorite events to cover and I would love to be there for your family!
You have shown so much resilience these past months, holding down the fort at home while your loved one is away. The moment you reunited is special and deserves to be remembered!

The homecoming Experience
Homecomings are a special time for all military families. The months apart suddenly no longer matter, the minute you see your sailor again. Having a photographer with you for this special moment ensures that you will be able to remember this special moment, giving you strength during the next, inevitable separation.
During a homecoming session, all you have to worry about is finding your loved one in the crowd. I will help you plan outfits, signs, be and be there from the beginning. Once you've spotted your sailor, I will stay with you and capture the special moments.
A deployment tears your heart in two, a homecoming renders it anew.
As crazy as it sounds, the best time to book a homecoming photographer is before, or shortly after your loved one leaves. I tend to book up quick, especially for the larger ships!
Fill out my contact form with as much detail as possible. I know you won't be able to give me a date because of OPSEC, but I will need to know the Command and an estimated date. I typically reply to my contact forms within 24 hours.
Homecoming is difficult, but you've got this!
1. Say Hello
I will reach out to you with my availability and a detailed pricing guide.
If you decide we are a good fit, I will get you on my schedule with your "ish" date. Homecomings are given priority on my schedule. I will move around my obligations depending on the movement of the ship. All I ask is that you keep me as in the loop as you are able!
I will send you your booking proposal, which contains your contract, a more in-depth questionnaire, and an invoice for your retainer. After completing the proposal, you're booked!
2. Tentative Schedule
Your Ombudsman and FRG will be your go-to resources to hear about specific homecoming details. Every Command is different and their homecomings are unique to them! Keep me in the loop and I'll work with you to make sure you feel ready to greet your loved one. From helping you plan outfits, to giving you ideas for signs, I'm here for you.
As a military spouse myself, I already have base access, so that's one worry off your plate! I want your day to be special and I will be there to capture your special moment.
3. Planning it
It's finally here! Your family is about to be complete again!
The day before the homecoming, we will talk about where to meet and how we will find each other. I will arrive as early as possible so I am there with plenty of time before the big moment.
While we wait for your loved one, I will capture the anticipation, the moments between friends, and the activities. Once the big event begins, I will be there to capture those first hellos and all the joy after your reunion. Enjoy this moment. You've waited so long for it!
4. Your Session
With homecomings, I try to give you a few sneak peeks as quickly as possible. I know how much you want to relive that special moment and share it with family and friends!
You can expect your gallery within 2-3 weeks of homecoming. All galleries are password protected.
Homecoming galleries contain a minimum of 40 images, but often much more.
5. Your Photographs

The Investment Details
A $150 retainer is due at the time of booking. The retainer secures your session date and time, and covers the time spent preparing for your shoot as well as my time and talent on your shoot.
You will order prints and products after viewing your images approximately 3 weeks after your session. The retainer will be put toward the cost of your chosen collection. Please inquire for detailed pricing information.
What an amazing experience! Justine was super easy to work with from beginning to end. She has a sweet demeanor that puts even the most shy model feel comfortable! My daughter's Senior Casuals are incredible! Justine captured her personality so perfectly. We can't wait to use her services again.

We did a family wildflower mini session and it was sooooo hot and humid that day. My hair was literally a disaster when I stepped out of the car. Justine was able to edit my hair and make it look much better and we got some super cute photos of the kids too!

Booked a quick mini session with Justine off recommendations and needless today she’ll be photographing our family for a long time! I was blown away at the images she was able to capture in such a quick session and around the chaos of our 4 boys and a dog. Cool/calm/collected and TALENTED. And her turnaround time was great. 5/5!
