When planning Collins's senior portrait session, it became clear that football meant a lot to him. So we made it a priority to incorporate his memories of playing in high school as much as possible. Not only did he bring along a few jerseys, but he also used a football and his helmet as props.
Bringing meaningful props only adds to how special senior portraits really are!

Let's face it, senior year is fun! Why shouldn't your senior casuals be just as fun? Each senior I work with has a unique personality and I really enjoying planning sessions that cater to each individual.
There are some really eclectic urban locations in the Chesapeake area. They make a great backdrop for photography, especial a fun senior portrait session!

The senior Experience
Your senior year deserves so much more than just a black outfit in front of a plain backdrop! That's where your senior casuals come in. I will work with you to plan a session that is about YOU. We will pick a location that speaks to you, and plan your outfits and props around what makes you unique.
I will take care of you every step of the way- from helping you plan, to guiding you during the session (because let's face it, being alone in front of the camera isn't easy!), you will be able to just relax and enjoy your day. And the best part? We'll create art that you and your family will be able to look back on for years to come.

Although your yearbook page requires the school photo, some schools have dedication pages that allow you to submit your own photos. If you are doing this, it is best to check with your school to find out your submission deadline. Once you know those, we can schedule your casuals to allow enough time for you to get your photos submitted.

After our quick phone call, we will schedule a time to meet via Zoom.
At the consultation we will discuss location options, and you will see photo examples. We will chat about your dream session, and how we can bring it to life!
I will offer style guidance and show you any potential client closet outfits that may fit with your vision. If nothing stands out, a color palette will be chosen for complimentary vision boards.
You will also see artwork examples, get a run down of the family process and officially book your session.
3. Portrait Session
On the day of your session, all you have to do is show up, relax, and have fun. We will have talked about all the details beforehand. We'll know when, and where we are meeting, what you are wearing, and will even have talked about "must-have" poses you want to try.
My goal is to make this process as stress-free as possible. I will have a portable changing tent you can use so you're not changing in your car. And when it comes to posing? Don't worry, I've got you. I will walk you through poses and make sure you are feeling as comfortable as possible in front of my camera.
4. Ordering Appointment
After about two weeks, your gallery will be ready for you to see! We will schedule another Zoom meeting and you will finally get to see your beautiful family photos!
After watching a custom slideshow of your gallery, we will work together to pick your favorites. Using my tried and true system, you will choose only the images you love as well as how you want to display them.
You will place your artwork order and I will put it through to my professional print lab. Your heirloom artwork is now being made!
5. Delivery
It's the moment you've been waiting for- delivery day!
Once I receive your artwork, I will check over it to ensure it is perfect. Once I am satisfied, I will contact you and set up a time and place for delivery.
And that's it, your beautiful images can now be enjoyed in your home!
