When planning Morgan's senior portrait session, it became clear she really wanted a variety of locations. Luckily, Oak Grove Lake Park in Chesapeake was able to give her just that. Trees, grassy fields, and scenic lake views all in one place.

There are some really eclectic urban locations in the Chesapeake area. They make a great backdrop for photography, especial a fun senior portrait session!

The senior Experience
Your senior year deserves so much more than just a black outfit in front of a plain backdrop! That's where your senior casuals come in. I will work with you to plan a session that is about YOU. We will pick a location that speaks to you, and plan your outfits and props around what makes you unique.
I will take care of you every step of the way- from helping you plan, to guiding you during the session (because let's face it, being alone in front of the camera isn't easy!), you will be able to just relax and enjoy your day. And the best part? We'll create art that you and your family will be able to look back on for years to come.

Although your yearbook page requires the school photo, some schools have dedication pages that allow you to submit your own photos. If you are doing this, it is best to check with your school to find out your submission deadline. Once you know those, we can schedule your casuals to allow enough time for you to get your photos submitted.
Simply fill out my contact form with as much detail as you can. I typically respond within 24 hours.
1. Say Hello
When you hear from me, you will be given a list of my available dates within your desired time frame, as well as a detailed pricing breakdown.
One you know we are a good fit, you will choose a date and collection. Afterwards, you will receive an official booking proposal. This proposal contains your contract, client questionnaire, and invoice for your retainers.
After you sign your contract and pay your retainer, you're booked. That was easy! Now to the fun part.
2. Schedule it
Now we get to do the fun step-planning your session! We will talk about locations, styling, props- everything that will make your session unique to you.
You will receive detailed styling advice from me, giving the dos and don'ts from your session. I'm also happy to talk over what you are thinking for outfits (how they will look on camera) or even show you what I have available in my client closet!
If you want professional hair and makeup, I have a list of local creatives who would be happy to make you feel special on your day!
3. Planning it
On the day of your session, all you have to do is show up, relax, and have fun. We will have talked about all the details beforehand. We'll know when, and where we are meeting, what you are wearing, and will even have talked about "must-have" poses you want to try.
My goal is to make this process as stress-free as possible. I will have a portable changing tent you can use so you're not changing in your car. And when it comes to posing? Don't worry, I've got you. I will walk you through poses and make sure you are feeling as comfortable as possible in front of my camera.
4. Your Session
It's finally the day you've been waiting for-gallery delivery day!
About 3 weeks after your session, you will receive the link to your viewing gallery. This gallery comes pre-loaded with the print and digital credits you purchased with your collection. All you have to do is pick your favorites and add them to your cart- it's that easy!
I offer a variety of print options through your gallery. You will be able to choose exactly the art you need, and it will be shipped directly to you.
5. Your Photographs

The Investment Details
- Pre-session preparation
- Session styling and access to client closet
- Approximately an hour session at golden hour (the hour before sunset)
- Personalized slideshow to view images before choosing your images
- Personalized assistance in selecting images and artwork design
- Sessions in the Hampton Roads Area or OBX
- $300 Session fee does not include images. Client chooses an image collection and/or customized artwork once they see and fall in love with their images.
