Fa La La Land at Chesapeake City Hall

If you want to enjoy a holiday lights display right in the heart of the city, this is the Chesapeake Christmas event for you! Not only will there be holiday lights decorating city hall, but the event, which takes place in early December is an interactive experience the whole family will enjoy. Play with baby goats sporting sweaters, enjoy watching ballerinas in snow globes, and get pictures with holiday favorites like Santa Claus. Even get into the spirit with food trucks offering holiday fare.

Chesapeake Rotary Christmas Parade

From Mt. Pleasant Road to Cedar Road

A Chesapeake tradition for more than 40 years, the Rotary Christmas Parade is one you don’t want to miss. The parade route begins on Mt. Pleasant Road and ends on Cedar Road by City Hall. This year’s theme is the “Magic of Christmas!” and the event is sure to be exciting for every member of your family. For food vendors, easy parking, and bathroom access be sure to head to the municipal center to view the parade!
